Who is August Holden? Well, the story is not a typical one. Child of a musician? Product of a proper musical education? Not even close. August grew up in a nightmare and used music to escape…to survive. Despair turned to hope through little songs in her head. They came from nowhere. But once they started, they completely assembled. All the parts of all the instruments she magically learned to play the moment they were within her reach. First the guitar. It was her holy grail and never left her side. Keyboards, bass and drums soon followed. Music she created was the glue that held together the pieces of her fractured soul. Now it’s the beautiful noise that continues to drown out any trace of the past.
